Call to rally on the 1st of March in Schweinfurt! 

2025 marks the sixth anniversary of Rooble’s death. We call on everyone to remember Rooble Warsame together and demand justice.

Rooble was a young person from Somalia with dreams, hopes and a life that was taken from him when he was only 22 years old. On February 26, 2019, Rooble died in police custody in Schweinfurt. We know: Rooble’s death is not an isolated case, but part of a racist, deadly system!

Come in large numbers to our rally on March 1st at 3 p.m. on the market square in Schweinfurt.

Bring signs, flowers and candles.

Organise joint travel from your cities so that there are many of us on March 1st!

Remembering Oury Jalloh – #Justice4Rooble in Dessau and on the Radio

On January 8, 2025, we gathered in Dessau to remember Oury Jalloh—burned alive in a Dessau police cell 20 years ago. His death was no accident; it was murder. The justice system has covered up, lied, and obstructed. To this day, there is no justice, no accountability, no consequences.

We were there to express our rage and solidarity—because Oury Jalloh’s case is not an isolated one!

Campaign relaunch – cooperation with Recherchezentrum, Forensis and Bewegungsstiftung

5 years on – we are still here, we are still fighting. We have received support from the  Bewegungsstiftung to fund our investigative work and campaign efforts!

In collaboration with the Research Center and Forensis, we are currently working on Rooble’s case. The files are being investigated, evidence requested and independent reports obtained.
